The cooling system for the MTU Series 12V2000 G25 engine features a high-capacity, heavy-duty radiator. It is engineered to efficiently dissipate the significant heat generated by the 1,300-1,600 kW engine under continuous operation. It is designed to maintain optimal engine coolant temperatures, ensuring maximum performance, fuel efficiency, and engine longevity, even in demanding applications such as power generation, marine propulsion, and rail.

• Integrated Heat Exchangers: Often configured as a charge-air cooler (CAC) and engine coolant radiator in a single module (a combination unit). This compact design cools both the pressurized intake air (after the turbocharger) and the engine coolant simultaneously.
